I- Events, activités et spectacles
Article 1: Tickets – conditions of use
Only one ticket is valid per ticket purchased. Once a ticket has been scanned at the entrance, no other copies of the ticket shall be accepted. You may be asked for proof of identity, along with your ticket.
Ticket holders eligible for a concession must show proof of their eligibility on arrival. If proof cannot be provided, they shall be liable to pay a supplement equivalent to the difference between the reduced price they paid and the full price.
Article 2: Terms and conditions
Tickets cannot be exchanged, returned or reimbursed, except if the show is cancelled on the decision of the organiser or for reasons beyond their control. Alterations to the cast or the interruption of a performance more than half-way through do not justify grounds for reimbursement.
Solidary tickets (“les billets solidaires”) contribute to action programmes being undertaken for certain audiences. They cannot be returned, exchanged or reimbursed.
Gift tickets for the escape room Game Over are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase stated on the ticket.
Tickets purchased for a particular performance, on a particular date, are only valid on the date and time shown on the ticket.
Article 3: Reimbursement
Requests for reimbursement of tickets purchased at our ticket desks or via our on-line platform must be received by Anjou Théâtre within one month of the date of the performance for which the request is being made.
The reimbursement shall be made via bank transfer on production of the tickets and the requestor’s bank details. It is possible to make a request by E-mail for E-tickets – billetterie@anjou-theatre.fr. For purchases made at our ticket desks, the items listed below must be returned to us by post or in person at the following address: Anjou Théâtre – 49 boulevard du Roi René – BP22155 – 49021 Angers Cedex 2
- The original ticket(s)
- Your bank details
- Proof, in case of cancellation as a result of circumstances beyond your control
Alterations to the cast or the interruption of a performance more than half-way through do not justify grounds for reimbursement.
For tickets purchased via the France Billet network, at Angers Tourist Office, requests for reimbursement must be made to them directly.
Article 4: Exchange
Tickets purchased at Anjou Théâtre ticket desks may be exchanged under certain conditions:
- At least 48 hours prior to the show
- On production of the original ticket(s)
- An exchange may be made for a performance taking place in the same season/festival as the one the ticket was originally purchased for
- In the same category and price as the original ticket
- Subject to availability
For tickets purchased via the France Billets network, their terms and conditions apply. Requests for reimbursement must be made to them directly.
Article 5: Resale
Reselling tickets at a price higher than the ticket value is forbidden (Law of 27 June 1919).
Article 6: Seating / Latecomers
Anjou Théâtre reserves the right to move spectators to a different seat on the day of the show for security reasons or for artistic reasons linked to the preformance. Latecomers cannot be guaranteed the seat stated on the ticket and will only be admitted to the auditorium when a suitable break in the performance occurs, and only when accompanied by a member of staff.
Latecomers may be denied admission to the auditorium if the artistic conditions of the show so warrant.
Article 7: Safety instructions
Anjou Théâtre reserves the right to deny admission to any person who refuses to comply with safety instructions. The use of audio, visual or audio-visual recording equipment of any kind is prohibited. Smoking and the consumption of food and drink are not permitted in the auditorium. Anjou Théâtre reserves the right to deny admission to the auditorium to any person below the minimum recommended age and any person whose health condition or behaviour may not be appropriate for the show.
Article 8: Right of access to personal data
Spectators retain the right, in accordance with articles 39 and 40 of the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, altered by law 2004-B01 of 6 August 2004, to access, rectify, alter or delete any data concerning them. They can exercise their right by sending an E-mail to protection.donnees@anjou-theatre.fr, stating their full name and E-mail address.
II- Recepetion areas
The present terms and conditions state the conditions under which the reception rooms and outside areas of the Château du Plessis-Macé (for which Anjou Théâtre is responsible) shall be made available, for the specific organisational needs of events of a professional nature: meetings, training courses, recruitment, seminars, conferences, Press conferences, general assemblies, team building days etc.
The present terms and conditions are sent to the client along with their quotation. Acceptance of the latter is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Article 1: Nature of the event
The nature of the event shall comply with that stated in any requests and confirmations of reservation. The following types of performance shall not be permitted: those of a political, religious or militant nature, or those which are likely to provoke controversy or public unrest.
The client and their guests must avoid entering areas or buildings that are not stipulated in their contract.
Article 2: Nature of the provisions and financial conditions
The prices and conditions of hire are those stipulated in the quotation duly signed by the recipient. The rental consists of the room requested and the provision of furniture (tables, chairs, a flip-chart, sound and video-projection equipment) placed in accordance with the recipient’s wishes, provision of wireless Internet with personal hotspot, and the supply of water, electricity and heating. Supplementary provisions (various drinks, breakfast breaks, snacks, cocktail buffets, meal trays, lunches and other services) must be specified in writing and will be subject to extra charge.
Article 3: Duration and times of the event
The duration of the event shall comply with that agreed at the time of reservation. Taking possession of and leaving the hired premises must take place at the agreed times. If the time is exceeded without prior agreement, an additional charge shall apply. Exceeding allotted times is only possible subject to availability.
Article 4: Deposit of equipment
Any equipment that is deposited before or after the rental remains under the responsibility of the recipient. Any deliveries that take place before or after the event require prior agreement that states the nature and conditioning of the objects, as well as the times (delivery between 9:00 and 17:00). Any equipment must be returned immediately after use.
Article 5: Alterations
Any request for alteration with regard to the accepted proposal must be addressed in writing to Anjou Théâtre at least 2 weeks before the date of the event.
Any alterations must be officially recorded by an amendment to the contract or a new quotation. It should be noted that such an agreement can take the form of an E-mail conversation between the parties, in which they expressly state their agreement.
Article 6: Substitution
The recipient may not, under any circumstances, substitute themselves by a third party, including a co-client or sub-client. The present contract / quotation may not benefit, partly or in full, any natural or legal person other than the initial client. Sub-leasing is strictly forbidden.
Article 7: Smoking is prohibited
In accordance with decree no. 92-478 of 29 May 1992 and the law of 1st January 2008, please be reminded that it is prohibited to smoke or vape in places assigned for collective use.
Article 8: COVID-19
In order to combat the spread of COVID-19, a health protocol has been implemented at the Château du Plessis-Macé. The health guidelines are displayed in public areas. All persons present on the premises agree to respect the health protocol.
Article 9: Confirmation of reservations and payment conditions
A reservation shall be considered firm and binding on receipt of the quotation, signed and bearing the term “bon pour accord” (good for agreement). The amount of the rental shall be payable by bank transfer or cheque on receipt of a recovery order issued by the Public Treasury after the event.
Article 10: Cancellation of a reservation
In the case of a cancellation less than one week before the date initially agreed on the quotation, Anjou Théâtre may request the payment of 30% of the total amount.
In the case of a cancellation related to COVID-19 constraints, every effort shall be made to reschedule the event.
Article 11: Withdrawal on the part of the hirer
In the case of withdrawal on the part of the hirer, because of technical problems or for reasons beyond their control, every effort shall be made to reschedule the event. If any payment has already been made, Anjou Théâtre shall reimburse the client.
Article 12: Number of participants
The number of people in each room must not exceed that stated on the quotation, for reasons of security and health guidelines (COVID-19).
Article 13: Returning the room
The room hired must be returned in a correct state. In the case of unreasonable / excessive soiling, Anjou Théâtre reserves the right to invoice for cleaning charges. In the case of damage caused by the client to the premises, equipment or communal areas of access to the premises, repairs shall be assessed in writing and shall be liable to payment by the client, without delay of appeal to the insurer.
Article 14: Price
Anjou Théâtre reserves the right to modify prices without prior notice. Any quotations already approved remain valid.
Article 15: Acceptance of the internal regulation
The hirer must respect the internal regulation that Anjou Théâtre enforces on users of the Château du Plessis-Macé, whether it be for health or safety reasons, to prevent fires or for any other reason. Signing the quotation constitutes the hirer’s agreement. A copy is available on the premises of the Château du Plessis-Macé.
